Project
Impact corporation was founded by Terence
Bell because he identified a serious of
epidemic with today’s young adult transitioning
into society from local, state, and federal
government agencies. These young adults
lack job skills, social responsibility,
cultural awareness, and information resources.
Project Impact believes that they can empower
these young adults by providing them with
a safe living space where they can learn
how to access information, use technology,
set clear career objectives and goals, learn
financial management, as well as educate
the importance of accountability, and other
principals.
Project
Impact is needed in today’s society because
of the lack of proper mentors and resources
used to help transition the young adult
into a productive working and law-abiding
citizen. Most state and federal organizations
only support a child until they reach the
age of 18. Once of age, the young adult
is released into society without any job
skills, social responsibilities, or mentorship
of how to develop into a productive citizen
in today’s society.
Project
Impact’s overall goal is to provide new
innovative mentorship and training to young
adults who will become productive and career-oriented
citizens of the prospective communities.

Business Overview:
Mission Statement:
The purpose of Project Impact
is to provide early intervention and prevention
service through specialized programs and
provide an adequate independent living environment
to “At-risk” youth, from 16 to 21 years
old. Youth today are at high-risk of educational
failure, teen pregnancy, and illegal criminal
activities. Project impact believes that
meshing mentorship with technology training,
cultural awareness, and economic empowerment
will enhance the young adult decision-making
process, and provide opportunities for growth
and development.
Business Structure:
Project Impact is incorporated as non-profit
agency in accordance with Oklahoma state
laws’. Our non-profit educates the participant
about responsibility, economic empowerment,
cultural awareness, computer technology,
and how to use information resources. Project
Impact is a 501 (c) (3) organization which
operates at educational and charitable status.
Description of
Company: Project Impact is a
non-profit corporation that provides a boarding
facility for “At-risk” youth, from 16 -21
years old. The target populations are homeless
youth and runaway youth. Most of these youth
are transitioning into society from Department
of Human Service, Youth Services, Oklahoma
Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA), and other
state agencies. These youth will receive
education and training, as well as counseling
and mentoring while they are enrolled in
the program.
Operations:
Project Impact will be managed by five directors.
Project Impact management will hire support
staff. Our current facility will provide
room and board for 10 “At-risk” youths.

Marketing Strategies:
Geographic Markets:
Our primary market is “At-risk youth” between
16-21 years old demographic, which consist
of individuals who have been, released from
the support programs of various local, state,
and federal programs.
Publicity:
Project Impact will conduct public relations
through local, regional, national, and
international print, television, film,
and internet media companies. This exposure
would be documented and stored for portfolio
usage and potential grants.
Advertising:
Majority of our advertising will be
focused on special event fundraisers, as
well as an official Project Impact website
and bulk emails. We will use film/video
camera to record our program participants
for authentic documentations. These documentations
can be used for media, newspaper, magazine,
and other public relations entities. All
flyers, brochures, and all other advertisement
will be allocated according to special event
budget.
Promotion:
Project Impact promotes economic empowerment,
specifically career discovery and developmental
services that focus on entrepreneurial endeavors,
as well as small businesses and corporations.
Our promotion will primarily come from word
of mouth, partnerships with other organizations
(such as University of Oklahoma, University
of Central Ok, Metro Tech, etc.) local,
state, regional, national media exposure,
media coverage of various events and fundraisers.
Competitive Analysis:
At this time, there are zero independent
transitional education living facilities
in Oklahoma City. Therefore, the Project
Impact program which is an independent transitional
education living facility is highly in demand.
Audience:
Our target audience is divided into different
marketing segments. Our primary target audience
is donors, philanthropists, small business
owners, corporations, industry leaders,
educators, political leaders, and all workers
in various fields. The primary market would
be known as our contributor pool of contacts.
This is where we would find motivational
speakers, mentors, monetary contributors,
etc. Our secondary target market would be
“At youth” 16-21 year olds. This audience
would be used to specifically promote the
service brand name of Project Impact, in-turn
this will naturally attract more involvement
from “At risk” youth outside the program.
