To Whom It May Concern:
Terrence Bell formed organization
Project Impact in November 2006. Its purpose is to provide
food and shelter for “At-risk” youth between 16 through
21 years old. Youth will be exposed to a variety of
nurturing relationships that will encourage them to
hold each other accountable; which in turn increase
progress.
Project Impact will empower youth with
knowledge through cultural awareness, economic empowerment,
and information resources. Each youth will be assigned
a personal mentor throughout the program.
Participants will go through a rigorous
screening process before they can be admitted into the
program. Project Impact will collaborate with state
agencies to recruit participants. The minimum time a
youth should spend in the program is six months. The
maximum time a youth should spend in the program is
one year. Maximum time can be extended, if deemed necessary.
It will depend on reason(s) if an extension will be
granted. Rules and policies of the facility will be
in place and enforced.
It is critical that basic needs are met
for one to succeed to his/her fullest potential. When
adequate living environment for “At-Risk” youth is provided,
it meets basic needs and therefore, youth are more likely
to succeed in life.
Project Impact received its award letter
dated November 12, 2007. The letter stated that Project
Impact is exempt from federal income tax under Section
501 © (3). Project Impact is also qualified to receive
tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts
under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the code.
Project Impact is in need of donations. Any contribution
to our organization will be greatly appreciated.
